Just Neighbors in a great neighborhood
Our community means a lot to us. We believe that we have been placed in this specific locale for a specific purpose. To serve those around us and to lead them to the One who would rather die than live without them. We are a location for Stark County Diaper Distribution. We have a clothes closet where folks come for needed clothing. We minister to wonderful single moms in our surrounding area. Every Monday (Weather permitting) we cook hamburgers and hotdogs for an apartment complex nearby. A simple sampling of what God has called us to do.
We know that we are not Sunday only Christians, but do we love our Sundays together. When we gather together, in the name of our King; joy, praise, love, hope abounds. The Hebrew writer knew what he was talking about when he said, "Don't abandon your meeting together. Because it is there that you encourage one another and spur one another onto more love and good works." (Hebrews 10:24-25)
